Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2017: Full Line Up Announced

Kasabian, Biffy Clyro, Lorde and many more make up a star studded line up for the 2017 event in Hull.


Finally the full line up of Radio 1’s Big Weekend has been revealed, with a sensational list of artists playing at the two day festival which is based this year in Hull. Joining the already announced headliner Katy Perry on the Main Stage on Saturday 27th July are Scottish rock titans Biffy Clyro, Leicester stadium gods Kasabian, New Zealand star Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Galantis, James Arthur, Zara Larsson and Emili Sande.

Playing the Where It Begins Stage on the Saturday are US band Haim, alternative pop superstar Lana Del Rey, London Grammar, The Amazons, the incredible Rag’n’Bone Man, JP Cooper, arena giants Two Door Cinema Club and You Me At Six plus a long awaited return of Plan B.

Sunday 28th May will see world dominators Little Mix, Canadian singer songwriter Shawn Mendes, icon Sean Paul, Clean Bandit, Bastille, grime star Stormzy, Rita Ora and dance duo The Chainsmokers join the already announced headliners Kings of Leon on the Main Stage.

On the Where It Begins Stage on the same day will be the incredible alt-j, powerful rock duo Royal Blood, Stockport indie giants Blossoms, the iconic Christine & the Queens, Scottish rock band Twin Atlantic plus rising stars Mura Masa, Dua Lipa and Anne-Marie.

With a line up of some of the world’s biggest artists, this year’s event is set to be one of the most memorable in its history.
