Boardmasters Festival 2017 Announcement: Two Door Cinema Club, Jamiroquai and alt-J to headline

In the last few minutes, Boardmasters Festival in Cornwall have announced the first wave of acts for the 2017 edition of the festival with the return of Jamiroquai to headline the Saturday of the festival.

The band, fronted by Jay Kay, were one of the biggest bands of the 90’s and are rumoured to be releasing their first album in six years. Indie giants Two Door Cinema Club will headline the first night of music at the festival which incorporates surfing and music across August 9-13. alt-J headline the final night of the festival, with rumours of a new album in the coming months.

Elsewhere on the bill, troubadour Jake Bugg will play the festival alongside punk band Slaves and huge DJ Andy C. Wild Beasts, Becky Hill, Tom Grennan and Patrick Topping are more artists to look out for as well in what is a stellar first wave announcement.
